hello world

Yes yes, I know - hello world is such a cliché.

So what is this? Well, this is my latest attempt to find some sort of self-hosted software for hosting a personal digital garden of sorts. You know, a place to write stuff - for yourself and others.

The idea with a digital garden is broadly to have a little plot of online real estate where you can sow seeds and grow, well, whatever you want to grow.

You can write about your hobbies or your personal interests, you can write down notes for yourself, and - you can go back, you know, and edit stuff.

It doesn't have to be chronological at all.

In a way, it's a throwback to the personal websites of yore, back when we'd create websites using Microsoft Frontpage or an online website editor like geocities or the Danish webbyen.dk. Just, you know, with less rotating skull gifs.

Heck, why though? Here's a rotating flaming skull for ya!

A rotating skull. I wanted a rotating flaming skull, but maybe they never existed?
